Morris Edward Rugger

Edward Rugger is inspired by the classic rugby shirt and is presented by Morris for fall/winter 2025.

One of the most iconic features of the rugby shirt is the famous rugby collar – a high, stiff collar, often white, that was sewn onto the shirt. This was not only a stylish detail, but also a functional one, designed to protect players from dirt or rain during matches. The shirt was often red, blue or in the team colors, as a way to show the team's identity and affiliation. Towards the end of the 19th century and into the early 20th century, the rugby shirt began to enter the fashion world, where it was adopted by fashion icons and the preppy style as part of the everyday wardrobe.
