Founded in 2017 in Hannah Cawley’s bedroom, the brand carries the legacy of a family that creates with their hands. Hannah and her mother Wendy learned to hand-smock together, using the craft to bring timeless techniques into the present – ​​a bridge between the historical and the modern. This love of craftsmanship and a commitment to traditional British textile processes are at the heart of the brand. Cawley is all about the quality of the craftsmanship and the integrity of the production.

Craft is everything, production is local, and a natural and sustainable approach has been at the heart of the brand since its inception. Each garment is hand-cut and produced in England. Cawley selects and celebrates the finest natural materials, while collaborating with skilled artisans with their own unique traditions, incorporating these stories into the brand’s universe.
